Dr. Jessica Head

Dr. Jessica Head

Originally from Comfort Cove- Newstead, NL, Dr. Head completed a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Memorial University in 2008. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Optometry in 2012. During her studies, Dr. Head was an active member in Optometric Honor Societies, including Beta Sigma Kappa, Gold Key International and Tomb and Key Honor Fraternity. She also had the privilege of traveling to both Mexico and Honduras for optometric mission trips where she provided eye exams to under serviced populations.   Since returning to Newfoundland and Labrador in 2012, Dr. Head has practiced Optometry in the central region, and has recently relocated to St. John’s. Dr. Head is pleased to announce that she is currently accepting new patients and is eager to work with the wonderful Opticians and staff at Optique Boutique.

Lorelei Woolridge

Lorelei Woolridge

Lorelei started working in the optical industry at sixteen.  She is a Dispensing Optician, a Certified Contact Lens Fitter and has completed the Automated Refracting Theory and Manual Refracting Theory program from NAIT.

Lorelei was a finalist for the RBC Canadian Women Award, Deloitte Startup Award in 2012 and 2013.

Eyecare has been a passion of Lorelei’s and she purchased Optique Boutique in 2008 from her Dad, Dr. Wyatt, making it a second-generation local eyewear company.  Her vision was to provide exceptional service and eyewear and takes pride that many patients have been coming to Optique Boutique for over 45 years.  Lorelei attends international eyewear shows to ensure that Optique Boutique has the newest and latest styles with many exclusive lines.

Grace Crocker

Grace Crocker

Grace has been with Optique Boutique since 2013 and is the Front Office Manager.  She brings twenty-five years of professional experience in the medical field.

Grace plays an important role in keeping the optical operating smoothly and thoroughly enjoys picking out the perfect pair of frames for patient’s.  When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and running and dragon boating with her friends.

Alice English

Alice has been in the optical industry since 2009.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Memorial University along with diplomas in both Optical Science and Contact Lens Fitting from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

When not at work, Alice enjoys being outdoors – walking, gardening and “adventuring” with her two small kids.
